How do you bubble 1x1 Merge Dragons? ›

You can bubble 1x1 mergeable items down to 2 of a kind. You do this by dragging them together as if you were going to merge them and then while they are highlighted tapping to exit to the map (without letting go on the merge until you have exited). When you return the one you had moved should be in a bubble.

Playing levels and completing quests can reward you with purple “Dragon Stars.” Save these stars until you have five, merge them, and then tap them to release gems. Merge smaller gems to create bigger ones for additional gem rewards.

Many consider this to be one of the harder Wonders to get. The grind may be not worth it, since it can't be harvested and gives only a few Sharp Dragon Eggs and Mounds of Rich Stuff.

Quick tip: Eggs can't be bubbled the usual way. Just max out your camp space, and try to move any item over an egg. It'll bubble up cause there's nowhere else to go.

All Dragons that are in the same home will sleep one after the other. Dragon 1 rests, then Dragon 2 rests, etc. Build more Dragon Homes from this shop menu. The more Dragon Homes you have, the more dragons can rest at the same time.

The dragon type which excels in harvesting is the Harvester, though many Trophy Dragons excel in harvesting as well. The slowest harvesters are the Builders.

5 Objects Merging (5-merge)

The reason being is that any group of 3 identical objects will already be combined. The reward for merging 5 objects is 2 objects of the next level, which is a significantly better outcome.

The main (only?) objective of Merge Dragons is to “revive” the land by merging sets of three to five objects (plants, statues, coins, anything really). In reality, the most basic objective is to merge a bunch of objects to get more objects, and to keep increasing in rarity and “power” of the objects that you create.

Dragon Gems. The best way to get Dragon Gems without buying them is to tap Dragon Stars, so we'll need to farm them in levels. As they appear randomly, it's very rare to gain 3 Dragon Stars in one level, and thus you probably won't be able to merge them in a level.

There are currently 52 Secret Levels. Secret: Outskirts 5 has been changed into a Challenge Level named Outskirts 5. Secret: Silence of 2 has been changed into a Challenge Level named Silent Bay 2.

Start and hold a merge of the three 2x2 items, similar to first method. This will now make the game see space available, the creatures will drop items in four of the six empty spaces. Once all but two spaces are filled again, you can stop the merge and drop the held 2x2 item onto the items you wish to bubble.

Any mergeable object (even 1x1) can be "bubbled" in a loot orb if you have two others. Place two of the objects beside each other and move the third object to the same space such that all three are occupying the space of two. Then return to the world map without releasing the three objects.

Level 1 chests come from just playing the game naturally. Merging plants and stones often yields these chests. And don't forget to tap on floating life orbs; they sometimes drop chests too!
