Though the first day of Fall isn’t technically until September 22nd, we’re all for getting into the Fall swing of things... Besides, faux Pumpkins have been in Michaels since like July 20th, so we know we can’t be the only ones ready to embrace the change of seasons. Cringe? Sorry not sorry, we’re spooky gals around here! As we mentioned the other day, for many of us here in New England the Fall season's arrival means pumpkin picking and hay-bale rides… However, what we really love about Fall is all the yummy food that can be made from local farm-fresh ingredients! We’ve pulled together a healthy handful of cozy recipes to give you all a push into the autumnal spirit.

For those of you who’ve stayed with us, or been to one of our dinner series in the past then you’ll know how we love to throw a dinner party. Fall is one of the most ideal times of year to host friends — the craziness of summer has gone by and the holiday season isn’t quite upon us — leaving a nice little gap to enjoy good food and company!

At Moore House Design, we love a good opportunity to unveil the captivating journey from 'before' to 'after,' peeling back the layers of our craftsmanship. This project stands as a cherished design: a modern European gem nestled in Rhode Island along the coveted ocean-side avenues of Aquidneck Island. Like many of our New England-based projects, these homes often bear the remnants of builder-grade finishes and incomplete renovations, presenting our clients with a fragmented starting point. Our mission? To seamlessly stitch these fragments together, making each room feel like it had a real purpose and connection.

We revealed our Minimalist Club Project in October, but we never really showed you how we got from point A to B. Before and afters are one of our favorite things because they allow us to remove some of the mystery behind our magic. Our wonderful clients came to us in search of a more cohesive interior brimming with super cozy, extra functional elements. We utilized a lot of pieces from our new furniture line at ROWEAM

WE’RE BACK! If you’re new here (HI!), at the end of each month(ish) we round up all of the articles, designs, reveals, and more that have inspired our team in the past thirty days. It’s been one of our busiest months yet — though we feel like we say that every month — so it’s wild to think next week is July! We’re always exploring the depths of Pinterest, Instagram and the various publications we’re subscribed to, and since there is so much goodness out there, we like to share our own findings with you.

We will be launching ROWEAM in September with a few collections and a whole lot of love. Make sure you’re signed up on the R-List to be the first to know about limited launches, new pieces and all the in-between.

We hope you become a part of the New Nostalgia.

How we’ve made it into the twelfth month of 2022 already, we have no idea but, here we are! It’s been an insanely busy year for our design team and we’ve still got a lot to accomplish before we wrap up for our annual holiday break… Panic-attacks aside, we’re taking one of our last blogs of the year to tell y’all a bit Moore* about one of our most prevalent project categories AND reveal some of the design goodness our team has been dreaming up for the Cabin we’re working on in Telluride, CO. She’s epic and we’re totally swooning because our clients are game for all of the patterns and colors we’re pulling.

A Very Merry Moore House Gift Guide 2.0

Delivering on our promise to get this goodness out to you sooner rather than later, welcome to our second annual Very Merry Moore House Gift Guide! Now, if we said we hadn’t been thinking about and planning for the holidays just yet — we’d be lying! We’re coming up on Thanksgiving, but we’re recent converts to the camp getting a jump on our holiday shopping done early so we can really enjoy the season for all its festivities. As usual, we’ve made a list (and checked it twice) of some of our favorite things that make unique gifts for the people you love. From the design enthusiast to the local shopper we’ve done our best to cover all the bases. Happy perusing!
